•CONSTANT F2.8 TELEPHOTO ZOOM RANGE – A 60-180mm range holds a constant F2.8 from the wide end to the long end, so exposure and depth of field stay consistent as you reframe. One full frame lens covers portraits, weddings, sports, wildlife, travel, concerts, events, close ups, everyday photography and cinematic video.
•17 ELEMENTS & UMC OPTICAL DESIGN – The optical formula runs 17 elements in 14 groups, including 2 aspherical, 7 extra-low dispersion and 1 high refractive element, with Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) and a Floating Focus System working together to hold sharpness, control chromatic aberration and limit flare across the frame.
•728G BODY, 0.26X MAGNIFICATION – At 728g (25.7 oz), this mirrorless lens carries a telephoto zoom range in a form factor you can hand hold through a full shooting day. Maximum magnification of 0.26x brings close ups into the same barrel, so one lens does work that usually takes two.
•LINEAR STM AUTOFOCUS & CUSTOM CONTROL – A Linear STM autofocus motor delivers fast, smooth, accurate and virtually silent focusing with subject tracking across stills and video. A customizable Focus Hold button and an AF to MF switch place the settings you change most often under your fingers on the barrel.
•WEATHER SEALED, RUGGED CONSTRUCTION – Weather sealing and rugged construction are built into the barrel, so outdoor location work is not the limiting factor. Ergonomic focus and zoom rings turn with even, damped travel, keeping pulls smooth on a gimbal and framing steady handheld at the long end.
